For years, Canadians have debated one simple question: is a hot dog a sandwich? With nearly 3,000 restaurants nationwide, Subway Canada, the country’s sandwich authority is officially settling it. The answer is yes.
Subway isn’t just saying it; it’s proving it. Introducing the SubDog, a category-reinventing sandwich experience that transforms an all-beef Schneiders hot dog into a fully customizable Subway sub.
Features a close to half-pound, all-beef Schneider’s hot dog
Fresh-baked bread prepared in-restaurant daily
Fully customizable toppings, from crisp lettuce and tomatoes to classic ketchup and mustard
Built Your Way – because that’s what makes it a sandwich
“People have been debating this for years, but at Subway, we know sandwiches,” says Chef John Botelho, Culinary Manager at Subway Canada. “With the SubDog, we’re not just joining the conversation; we’re settling it. This is a classic summer favourite, reimagined the Subway way – fully customizable, built exactly how you want it, with your choice of bread, toppings and sauces.”
Whether you keep it classic or go fully loaded, the SubDog is customization without limits, proof that a hot dog can do more when it thinks like a sandwich.
